NOTES ON PHILANTHROPY

Notes on Philanthropy (NoP) is an approachable, experienced, multi-dimensional consultancy service within the charity sector

Research & Writing

NoP offers in-depth research and project writing assistance into many aspects of the charitable world, including historical investigation and fundraising, as well as exploring areas such as education, health, social policy and volunteering.

NoP enjoys piecing together philanthropy of the past and present. It provides tailor-made research and writing support for philanthropic trusts and foundations, charities of all sizes, major donors and benevolent corporate bodies. For example, this assistance helps organisations to delve deeply into their benevolent past and to write about their discoveries. It also assists academics investigating the charity sector.

Archives

Every single day precious charity archives are lost or are at risk. Often charities, grant giving trusts and foundations or major donors, unsure about how to save their philanthropic legacies, throw them out or leave them in unsuitable locations where they deteriorate. That doesn’t have to be the case.

Notes on Philanthropy can advise and support you to plan how to take care of your archives and, most importantly, where to safely place them, internally or externally. We are your first port of call to begin the process of thinking and talking about your irreplaceable heritage.

Charity Support

With more than 25 years' experience of management, marketing, communications, finance and fundraising, NoP is happy to support charities looking for some advice and guidance. We help charities if they don’t have the skills required internally and need to reach for outside expertise. Equally, we love collaborating with staff to bring new thoughts and ideas. We have been particularly strong in helping with fundraising projects.
